2nd Annual “Celebration of the Arts” Reception presented by Aaron Maybin’s

Project Mayhem Charitable Fund and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

Baltimore, MD --  Aaron Maybin, Baltimore native and Buffalo Bills’ OLB, is proud to announce his 2nd AnnualCelebration of the Arts” Reception at the Joseph Meyeroff Symphony Hall on Saturday, March 5th.  To get more information, please call 443-802-0454.  The reception tops off the Project Mayhem “Celebration of the Arts” Week spanning February 26 -March 5, 2011 which consists of Aaron and celebrity friends hosting field trips and art workshops at Baltimore City middle and high schools, community centers and pediatric wards of area hospitals. 

“Art is an integral part of who I am and I want to make sure that our youth have every opportunity to cultivate the arts in their life. I am especially excited to partner with such significant cultural institutions as the National Great Blacks in Wax Museum, Art with a Heart and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra to celebrate the talented youth of Baltimore.” “I am inviting everyone to celebrate the arts with me and my celebrity friends, as we raise money to support youth art programs.” Last year’s celebrity guests included “Avatar” actor, Laz Alonso, NFL players and music recording artists.

This year’s Celebration of the Arts Reception will feature an exceptional youth art gallery, a special musical showcase featuring a performance by the OrchKids orchestra and incredibly talented young musicians from the DC –Maryland-Virginia area, as well as, delicious food sponsored by Milan Restaurant.  There will be an exclusive VIP Open Bar pre -reception where VIP guests will be photographed on red carpet and receive a spectacular swag bag including tickets to a future BSO performance and area cultural institutions, a  musical CD and official NFL memorabilia.
